Hema Cederhage joined the Board in November of 2020 and holds the position of Treasurer. She is currently the Head of Securities Services at the Mauritius Commercial Bank where she is also part of the Bank’s Leadership Team. She has more than 20 years of Financial Services industry experience acquired working in London, Singapore and now Mauritius.

She started her career in Insurance prior to joining Capco, a boutique consultancy company which specialises in Financial Services. She was based in London until 2002 and moved to Singapore as Senior Consultant prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore in 2007. Hema relocated to Mauritius in November 2016 with her family.

She holds a BSc in Economics from Kingston University in England and a MSc in International Business from the University of London.
