Class Teacher,Year 2

Year 2 Yellow Teacher

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in K-6 Education and Special Education, Honours from the  University of Southern Alabama, USA.

I was born in Mauritius though, between the ages of 10 and 18, I lived in Tanzania, East Africa. During those 8 years, I attended an International School (ISM).

After several years away from Mauritius, I decided to return and start my teaching journey here. Fresh from university I was assigned to be a Year 1 teacher at Westcoast International Primary School (WIPS) in Pierre Fond. In January 2018, I decided to challenge myself and move up a grade and teach Year 2.

Throughout my five years at WIPS I have worked on the IPC program, teaching our students how to inspire, adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.

I am a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic teacher. Through my passion, I reach out to students making it fun, caring and a safe environment to learn.
